Johnny Cash, a full-grown pocket pet sugar glider (Petaurus breviceps), chews on his snack fed by his trainer on my wife's hand during a pocket pets demonstration at Neptune Festival on Virginia Beach ocean front, Va. on Sept. 29, 2007. An Australian marsupial, sugar glider is 6.3 to 7.5 inches (16 to 20 cm) in length, weighs between 3 to 5.3 oz (90 and 150 grams) and live up to 10 to 12 years.
